Welcome to the official website of the Colorado U.S. Marshals Posse
The objectives of the Colorado United States Marshals Posse shall be to cooperate with the United States Marshals Service in rendering such non-law enforcement assistance to them as may be required when called upon. The Posse represents and publicizes the United States Marshals Service in a western tradition, and may participate in local parades and appear at private and public events and ceremonies. The members promote good horsemanship and fellowship among themselves and the public at large.
The Colorado United States Marshals Posse is an all voluntary, non-law enforcement, non-profit organization. The Posse is authorized by the United States Marshals Service. Members are leading citizens and businessmen in the community. Members must pass a criminal background check and abide by U.S. Marshal Service Guidelines to participate in this organization. Each member donates his time to charity fundraisers, public/private events, youth groups, etc. Posse members provide a western and historic flair to any event. Our primary goal is to commemorate the tradition and history of the U.S. Marshals Service. If you are interested in scheduling our services at your next event contact one of our captains.
